Jesse + Michelle — December 30, 2009

Jesse and Michelle were married on December 30, 2009 in Zelionople, Pa. (on the exact same day and in the same church that Michelle’s mother was married to her father in). It was a Christmas-themed wedding with lots of dark reds and golds. They were a fantastic couple to work with and were great sports about shooting outside in the freezing cold (it was REALLY cold that night!). Here are a few of my favorites from the evening. I wish them the best!

Christopher + Christine — December 29, 2009

December 29, 2009

After a 9-month stint in Afghanistan with the U.S. Air Force, Chris Rathy made it home just in time for Christmas. I had the honor of doing an anniversary shoot with Chris and his beautiful wife, Christine, just a week after his return on Geneva College’s campus (where they first met). Their love for each other is so evident in the way they look at each other and I barely had to instruct at all — they were naturals in front of the camera and didn’t complain once about the freezing cold weather! Happy anniversary Chris and Christine!
