I had the privilege of photographing Alpay and Victoria’s wedding with Caryn Azure of Caryn Azure Photography. Caryn is an excellent photographer and I was honored to spend the day shooting with her. Alpay and Victoria were married at St. Paul’s Cathedral in Oakland, Pa. As far as churches in the Pittsburgh area go, I can’t think of one more photo-friendly when it comes to breathtaking backdrops, excellent lighting, gorgeous stain glass windows, etc. Their reception followed at the Concordia Club followed by a Turkish after party (the groom’s family is from Turkey). Alpay and Victoria were naturals in front of the camera and needed very little direction — each smile was completely natural and it was as if they walked right out of Vogue.

Following the reception was a Turkish after party which included a belly dancer — so much fun!

Apparently Victoria had been taking lessons...

...and she managed to get her bridal party to dance too!
