Those of you that know me know that I LOVE coffee. So of course I jumped at the opportunity to travel to origin with Beaver Falls Coffee & Tea Co. We spent a week at Finca Vista Hermosa, a coffee farm in the Huehuetenango region of Guatemala. BFC&T has a direct relationship with FVH so we were able to meet with the owner (Edwin Martinez) as well as his family and staff. They gave us a full tour of the plantation and talked us through the seed-to-cup process. We were even able to spend some time picking coffee cherries, which we were then able to have shipped up to us in Beaver Falls so we could roast and brew it ourselves!
